I know its been a long time since Paula or I have provided any updates. I hope to post more often here in the near future.
For now, I’m going to cheat and repost a photoblog from our trip to Boston last year. I orignially posted it on an old blog that I don’t use anymore, so I thought it would be a good idea to repost it here for you to see and for us to look back on…

Last weekend, Paula and I went to our first-ever NASCAR race. It was the Ameriquest 300 held at the California Speedway on Saturday, September 2.
My company sponsors one of the racing teams and we had a couple cars in this race, so we were given free tickets. I also invited our friends Audrey and Aaron and we all agreed that it was a lot more fun than we could’ve ever imagined!
We arrived at the racetrack around 5:00p and headed to the “Chalet Village” which is a special tent area for the sponsors. They fed us burgers, hotdogs, and other snacks.
Last weekend, Paula, the dogs, and I drove up to Northern California to get away and hang out with our friends Jason and Nicole.
Paula works with Nicole and Jason is Nicole’s boyfriend. They live together in Livermore, which is just outside of San Fransisco, in wine country.
We left after lunchtime on Friday and the traffic was predictably terrible until we got out of the L.A. area. Then it was smooth sailing.
Stryker and Beckham have become used to driving through states and flying across the country, so this ride was a breeze for them:
